In order to receive a Certificate of Completion for this course, the registrant must write and pass an exam with a minimum of 75% mark, within 6 months from the date of registration. The exam fee is included in the tuition fee. To receive CE-credits, registrants need to apply for them from their association.

NOTE: It is to the registrant's advantage to seek and take practical workshops in the region where they reside, covering the topics of the Sport Injuries and Sport Massage courses.

The above courses will provide the required knowledge base for Sport Massage Therapists who want to work with athletes and active individuals involved in regular physical activities. Each course has exam requirement within a certain time frame. After passing the exams for all courses, the International Sport Massage Diploma will be issued.

The Author

Gordon J. Bell, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation at the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada where he has taught since 1989. Dr. Bell has conducted applied sport science and exercise physiology research, consulted with amateur and professional athletes, and taught undergraduate and graduate courses in exercise physiology over the past 20 years. He has also presented educational materials and curricula for coaches, fitness and health consultants at provincial, national and international conferences. Recently, Dr Bell received the first Sport Information Resource Centre (SIRC) Research Award, (2003). This award is an annual national recognition award to promote sport science research throughout the world. This award winning research article is indexed by SIRC Sport Discuss and is available to researchers in 52 different countries.
